Bible Studies at Good Shepherd

You are invited and welcome to join any of the bible studies at Good Shepherd at any time even if, especially if, you've never studied the bible before. The discussions are both deep and practical; they make you think and yet they are easy to follow and apply to your daily life. The Bible was written by human beings long ago but it was inspired by an eternal God and intended to last forever. That means that when you read the bible you are reading God's word not only to people who lived in the past, but you are also reading God's word to you. Knowing the Bible is the best way to know and understand the heart of God. It can and will transform your life. Come and see.

TUESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY: This Study meets at 9:00am in the parish library after Morning Prayer in the sanctuary (which begins at 8:30).
This fall the group will begin a trek through the New Testament letters, beginning with Jude and ending with Paul's letter to the Romans. Why read other people's mail? These letters were not only written to specific people and churches in a particular time, they were inspired by God for all people of all time. Come see what God is telling you. This bible study is open to anyone and everyone, so please feel free to join right in.

FIRST LIGHT: This Study meets in the parish hall every Tuesday evening at 6:30pm for Questions and Answers and 7:00pm for the official class period.
This bible study is made up of all those who recently graduated from the beginners bible study series described below. They are currently studying Paul's Letter to the Romans. This study is specifically designed to teach the art and science of biblical interpretation. It is an intermediate level study. If you are a new believer, new member at Good Shepherd, or if you've been a Christian for a long time but never really studied the bible this study is for you. The bible is the primary means through which God speaks and guides the church and individual believers. Knowing it the best ways to get to know Jesus Christ because through it Jesus speaks directly to you and guides you through the various circumstances of your life. The study meets every Thursday at 6:30pm in the parish hall and all are welcome!
